Welcome to the story of my new garden in Staffordshire. I have spent two years keeping my precious plants that I couldn't bear to part with in pots. I am an incurable plantaholic and had collected for 45 years. Needed two removal vans- one for the inside stuff and one for the outside stuff. Brought my bridge, several seats, a turquoise heron, wheelbarrow, all the tools, lawnmower, garden frame  etc etc. I also had a lot of seed collected from plants I didn't bring.

My day by day progress is HERE

Auricula Sheila's Choice raised by me and brought with me

Galega Officionalis not brought but seeded since I got here

Osteospermum Ecklonis unfortunately lost in the last garden but have raised from seed since.

I rented a lovely bungalow in The Scottish Borders for a year- plants were in pots and I actually bought extra ones.

Then I arrived in Staffordshire. A square plot 60 feet by 60 feet- all grass- yuk- all that work for a green waste of planting space. Nevertheless a blank canvas for me.
