Caillie is rapidly turning into a smart young lady
We had excellent news last week- the two handsome boys- Ashley and Briar- Somerled Summertime Guy and Somerled Summer Knights were hip scored. Ashley was 5/3=8 and Briar was 9/6=15 Chantelle won the Junior class at Leicester Gundog Club Show 13.2.10 and then went BOB. Suzy at the same show won the Post Graduate Class
Happy New Year to all our puppies and their families. Below is the much loved Harvey Sluke- Francesca's son from her first litter with Larrenie Tom Thumb- how like his Mum. He must be over three now.
These three girls are Ellie, Izzie and Lucy Pittard enjoying their very frequent runs on the beach. I am told they also love caravanning and going to the park. Lucky girls. Izzie was a Francesca daughter and her Dad is Tyler.
Below are Oscar and Ralph Bartlett who live a life of luxury in Durham.They have their own sofa ! Two litter brothers from Christie and Ben. They are brothers to Francesca

Thanks Keith and Cari for the photo- especially as Storm was ill earlier in the year and now, fully recovered, looks great - thank goodness. Storm is my Jasmine's sister and also sister to Emmy below.
This Emmy - if it was Easter - it could be an Easter bonnet. Lucky old Emmy has got a new holiday home to go to as well- some dogs are just living in the lap of luxury.

This is little Emmy who is not so little now. The model of Mum Francesca. I am told she enjoys sweet potato chews from a shop on Ebay and also dried carrots. Thanks to Joan and Alan Dale for letting us see pictures of Oscar enjoying his day out and a swim in the river.
At Blackpool Championshp Show Chantelle (Canonsett All About Romance) was first in Puppy Bitch and was again Best Bitch Puppy Judge was Mr K Howarth

Chantelle (Canonsett All About Romance) won the puppy class and was BP in Breed at Cheshire County Show. Judge was Joyce Moore. Her Mum was second in Post Graduate. Chantelle, Jasmine and Ashley all did well at Three Counties Championship Show 18.6.09 Ashley was first in PD, Jasmine was first in MPB, Chantelle was first in PB .She was Best BP, Ashley was Best DP and Chantelle was Best Puppy in Breed. Mum Daisy was second in Graduate Bitch. Judge was Val Cozens.

Canonsett All About Romance (Chantelle) was first in Minor Puppy and Best Bitch Puppy at her first championship show at Bath- May 2009- Judge was Mrs P Halstead.
photo courtesy Mr E Evans I don't know if anyone remembers but when Ritchie and Daisy's pups were born there were 6 big chunky girls and one tiny tiny little boy. Well this is him now- being cuddled and loved with the Striders- do you think he is going to give me a call- the second photo ?? The Farmers have given this the title 'let Sleeping Dogs Lie' I think we should add- in luxury. Lucky Rosie, Megan and Sophie. Rita says 'Friends at last' The cat and Emmy are now good pals. Bracken has settled in sooo well and loves the setters to bits- their patience is wonderful. Tyler is his cushion of choice at the moment. He is into everything- or out of everything by the looks of this..
Rosie and Ruby who went to live close by each other and go out for lovely walks with the Farmers and the Prattens and all their other doggy friends. Flynn who lives in luxury with Sue Finlay and pal Sophie has been a bit poorly but is well and happy again now thank goodness.
Emmy is growing up fast but this is showing one of extensive teddy collection and another contemplating her personal garden space. She is sooo like Mum Francesca. Thankyou Rita and roll on the 7th Robert.

As you can see Emmy is settled in happily in Scotland with her new pal Molly- has chicken and tuna and sleeps on her mum's bed- lucky girl. Her sister is in the photo below. This is Storm- Francesca and Tyler's daughter- enjoying her first snow at her home with the Whitings Our little Heidi did well on her first trip out to training and a match night and was Best Puppy Walk in Match

How lovely to hear from Theodore and Harry who are now 4 years old- two of them together and Theo alone are pictured below.. I hear that Harry is nicknamed Asbo- what does that tell you ???

This is Spencer and Chester - sons of Francesca and Tyler who live with the Clarkes-two lucky boys who seem to have settled in as if they had been there forever.
We had some lovely photos from Tess - a friend who Ruby went to live with. What a lucky girl with that lovely garden and a pool- she isn't actually in the water here but----
One year on this is Cassandra- Francesca's daughter from her last litter. How she has grown- and so like her Mum.

These two pictures are Rosie who lives in Bedford with the Farmer family. She obviously has 2 good new friends to use as cushions. This is Martha who went to live with the Linington family- such a pretty girl This is Flynn who was born in 2007 and lives with best friend Sophie and Sue in Wales. What a lovely coat he has.
At Worksop Open Show Roxy was BOB and then the car was broken into- what a great ending. At English Setter Society of Wales Championship Show 1.3.08 Roxy won the Mid Limit Class and Daisymae was First in Novice. I also won the lucky catalogue prize !! We had a lovely day at Pontefract Show with Roxy BOB and winning the Gundog Group, Daisymae gained a second in Post graduate and Eileen's Irish Setter Puppy won the Gundog Puppy Group.
